Fashion That Cares: FNO

Did you purchase the 2011 FNO shirt, cap, or tote this year? Well then you helped make a difference in the lives of HIV and AIDS patients! For the 2nd year in a row FNO has donated 40% of all proceeds directly to the NYC AIDS Fund. According the organization's website:

Since it started in 1989, the AIDS Fund has awarded more than $20 million in grants to community organizations that help prevent and treat HIV/AIDS. “With more than half a million dollars from Fashion’s Night Out 2010, the AIDS Fund made 26 grants to agencies seeking to eradicate AIDS in communities most affected by the epidemic—gay men and communities of color,” said Len McNally, chair of the NYC AIDS Fund and program director for health at The New York Community Trust. In 2009, Mayor Bloomberg recognized the Fund for its “tremendous dedication to combating the spread of HIV/AIDS and for providing care to those affected by the disease.”
