Work It...Out

In my last post I hinted that I would be sharing a bit more about my workout routine...So here we go.

For the last three months I've been training with my favorite trainer, Lacy at A-List Fitness doing TRX suspension training. This is about the only workout I have ever stuck to (seriously I almost go into a crying fit if I get near the gym). If I'm determined not to go to the gym, then how in the world do I have a trainer right? Well, here is the best part of my workout, Lacy trains me via Skype.

Workout, shower, protein shake all in one place (my house) and Kristianne is a happy camper!

Here are some pictures of me doing my thing. Well kind of, this was right after a real workout and needless to say i'm exhausted!

The topknot is not just for going out...it's perfect for working out and my go-to

Now, if you know me then you also know that I can't just workout in anything, I've uttered the words "If I just get some new workout clothes  I'll feel more motivated" more times then I can count on my fingers...and toes.

So I was super excited when I was asked to do an activewear review! Since I've been working out for quite awhile now I decided I would step out of my comfort zone and choose this Nike racerback tank (I never wear sleeveless on a workout). My first reaction upon receiving it was, "OMG I love the color!" The fit is also great in that it isn't too tight and the length ensures it won't ride up. However I still chose to double up with another tank...For a closer fit I would say choose one size smaller from what you normally wear.

Generally I like to wear workout capris made of some cotton blend, but I couldn't say no to these adorable Ideology capris (polyester/spandex). The purple print at the waist is fun and makes you feel like you can actually make a fashion statement while working out, which in my world makes all the difference.

My favorite part of the capri pants are the rouched ankle with exposed blue zipper... talk about fab detail! Over all I felt very comfortable in these pants, they were easy to move in and actually kept me quite a bit cooler than I expected.

One last note if you would like to try a FREE Skype training session with Lacy (we can even do a group session together) visit the A-List Fitness website or contact me @ kristianne.young@gmail.com.
